Toxic Chemical Registration / Regulatory Support
Regulatory Support Toxic Chemical Registration - Overseas
Client :
Cookson Electronics
EEI is assisting the client with chemical inventory review and the best option to take with full chemical registration and various exemption options available for each country. Most of the work requires a local person from EEI Global network to submit the application/registration/notification in the local language and proprietary information protection is critical. Each local partner gathers all the information for the situation based on the importer relationship, the number of similar products, the total volume imported and determines the best option to take for Low volume Exemption or Polymer types as the initial step, until the full blown chemical registration with full toxicity data is required. The critical issues are to allow the client to continue to operate and maintain proprietary information.
Client :
Pennzoil Quaker Chemicals
EEI is assisting the client with the compilation of regulations for China (national and regional and transboundary) for transportation, labeling and packaging requirements. This was then customized for industry sector applications by type of chemicals shipped between regions.
