EEI provides the Federal Occupational Health Department with. Industrial Hygienist and Fire Safety Engineers (staff augmentation under EEI corporation supervision) for Occupational Health and Safety support to the Federal Agencies in the Washington DC Metro region, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. The responsibilities of the Industrial Hygienists are to assist with IH investigations, conduct administration functions, to enter findings into the FOH database, to perform quality assurance activities and to provide consultation to the FOH program, all under EEI Corporate supervision. Similarly, the contract will be expanded with fire protection engineering services, environmental monitoring services, and Asbestos, Lead and Radon management, etc.
